Our Story

Zypria was born out of both challenge and compassion. In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, thousands of college-educated professionals across Kenya were left without work, struggling to support themselves and their families. Our founder, Eric Njoroge Itugi — a seasoned virtual assistant with a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science — saw this crisis up close. Beyond the lack of jobs, he saw something deeper: highly capable people going without food, unable to afford medical care, and living in uncertainty despite doing everything “right.”

A naturally kind and values-driven leader, Eric couldn’t ignore what he witnessed. He believed that talent should never go to waste just because someone was born in a country facing economic hardship. So he built Zypria to be more than just another VA company — he built it as a bridge. A bridge between global businesses that need dependable, skilled support and bright professionals who just need an opportunity. Today, Zypria stands as a social enterprise creating not only efficient solutions for clients, but meaningful change for the people behind the work.
